About this policy
This page explains what personal data we process when you write to us through the contact form on this website, for what purpose, how long we keep it and which rights you have. We process data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the applicable Romanian law.
What data we collect
Through the contact form we collect only the data you fill in yourself: your name, email address and message (required), and your phone number and company name (optional).
In addition, we store the IP address from which the message was sent together with the message.
We do not ask for any other data and we do not create accounts for visitors of the website.
Why we use your data
We use the data solely to reply to your message and to carry on the conversation you started, including preparing a quote if you ask for one.
The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, if the conversation leads to a collaboration, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use the data for marketing and we do not sell it.
We store the IP address to prevent abuse and spam (for example, repeated automated submissions). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website and the contact form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing, as described in the section on your rights.
How long we keep your data
We keep messages received through the contact form, together with the IP address stored with them, for a maximum of 24 months from the last exchange with you, and then delete them. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will do so without undue delay.
Who has access to the data
Messages are visible only to the people in the company who reply to you. Each message sent through the form is forwarded by email to the company's notification address through the email (SMTP) provider the company uses. We may use technical service providers, for example for hosting, strictly as far as needed to run the website. We do not pass your data on to third parties for their own purposes, and we disclose it to authorities only when the law requires us to.
Cookies
The public website does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not load third-party scripts or fonts for such purposes. Technical cookies strictly necessary for signing in are used only in the administration area of the website, which only the company's staff can access.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access to your data, and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, write to us using the controller's contact details below. If you are not satisfied with how we process your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (www.dataprotection.ro).
